Day ( 1 ) Arrival to Uttarkashi ( 1,158mtr )

EXPLORE TO UTTARKASHI

Explore to Vishwanath Temple.
Preparation for further move.
Overnight stay in hotel.

Day ( 2 ) Uttarkashi to Gangotri ( Drive 100 Km / 5 hrs, / 3,048 mtr )

WISIT TO GANGOTRI

Next day after breakfast from 10 am to 11 am we will leave for Gangotri. Our journey is of 100 km. In which it takes 5 to 6 hours to reach Gangotri Dham. We stop for lunch at the hotel on the way and continue our journey. When we reach Gangotri we first go to check-in at the hotel and rest there. In the evening you can go for a walk in Gangotri but be sure return back to hotel room before get tired.

Day ( 3 ) Gangotri ( Acclimatization day / 3,048 mtr )

DAY OF GANGOTRI

Because we are going for our expedition to a high altitude place, which is very high altitude according to your hometown that’s why you need to prepare your body slowly. to make your body acclimatize we stay for a day in gangotri on the elevation of 3,048 mtr. on the day we can visit some special places of gangotri like SuryaKund, Gaurikund, Pandava Cave and Temple etc.

Day ( 4 ) Gangotri to Bhojwasa ( 14 Km Trek , / 4 hrs / 3,768 mtr )

THE TREKKING TRAIL

From this day onwards the foot journey of our expedition will start. Now we leave Gangotri early morning after breakfast for Bhojwasa via Kanku check post and Chidwasa. Which is 18 kms on foot route.

Day ( 5 ) Bhojwasa to Tapovan ( 10 Km Trek , / 5.6 hrs / 4,464 mtr )

CLOSE VIEWS OF MOUNTAINS

Enjoy the panoramic view of the peaks of the Bhagirathi group in the early morning. And after breakfast, we walk to Gaumukh (3,890 m), the source of the Ganges. We explore the area and trek to Tapovan, one of the finest high altitude alpine meadows in the region. The route from Gaumukh to Tapovan is a steep climb, and as we climb, the view of the surrounding peaks becomes clear.

Day ( 6 ) Base Camp ( Acclimatization day / 4,338 mtr )

ACCLIMATIZATION DAY

At Tapovan, we take a day’s rest to let our bodies adjust to the altitude, And will do some body exercises and stretching. We’ll also talk about climbing, that how to use our equipment and climbing gear.

Day ( 7 ) - Day 19 Expedition

Next 12 days for Acclimatization, Establish higher camps and summit Mt. Shivling expedition (6,543M).
