Itinerary

Day ( 1 ) Manali to Chika via Jobra ( Drive 15 km / 1-2 hrs / Same day trek 2.6 km / 1-2 hours / 3,078 mtr )

EXPLORE TO JOBRA / CHIKA

On the first day, take a scenic drive from Manali to Jobra, and Jobra to Chika serves as the starting point for the trek. The route takes you through picturesque valleys and offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains. Night stay by camping at Chika.

Day ( 2 ) Chika to Balu Ka Ghera ( Trek 6.5 Km / 4-5 hrs,/ 3,725 mtr )

VISIT TO BALU KA GHERA

Trek officially starts as you leave Chika and make your way to Balu Ka Ghera. This leg of the journey takes you through dense forests of oak and pine trees, with the Beas River accompanying you along the trail. Enjoy the tranquility of nature as you reach Balu Ka Ghera and spend the night camping under the starry sky.

Day ( 3 ) Balu Ka Ghera to Hampta Pass ( Trek 8 km / 8-9 hrs / 4,287 mtr )

CLOSE VIEW OF MOUNTAIN RANGES

This is the most challenging and exciting part of the trek. As you ascend towards Hampta Pass, you’ll be captivated by the panoramic views of snow-capped peaks and glacial valleys. The thrill of crossing the pass and reaching Shea Goru, located in the Lahaul Valley, is a truly rewarding experience.

Day ( 4 ) Shea Goru to Chatru ( Drive to Chandratal 50 km & back to Chatru 5 km trek / 10-11 hrs / 3,048 mtr )

BACK TO CHATRU

On the fourth day of the trek, bid farewell to Shea Goru and make your way to Chhatru.

Day ( 5 ) Chatru to Manali ( Drive 64 km / 4.5 hrs / 2.050 mtr )

DEPARTURE DAY

From Chhatru you will be taken back to Manali, where you can reminisce about your adventure and celebrate your achievement.
