Kayarkoti Trek (Harsil Valley)

Kyarkoti Trek is a beautiful trekking route located in the Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand, India. The Harshil Kayarkoti trek is known for its natural beauty and panoramic views.

Starting point of the trek is Harshil village, a small and picturesque village situated on the banks of river Bhagirathi. From Harshil, you will trek up to Kyarkoti, which is a high altitude grassland at an altitude of 3,800 meters.

Kyarkoti trek is a moderate level trek and takes around 6-7 days to complete. The trek route takes you through dense forests, beautiful meadows, and scenic valleys. The trek offers stunning views of the snow-capped Himalayan peaks such as mount Srikanth , Horn of Harshil, and Bandarpunch.

Kyarakoti Bugyal (Alpine Meadows) is the famous snow covered high Himalayas. Shrikant and some unknown mountains. Spectacular view of Kyarakoti mountain lake, frequented by warm and vibrant families. Langurs (like black-headed monkeys), swinging through the canopy of trees from above. Along with herds of hardy goats (mountain top) sheep and goats, there may be chances of sighting ibex.
