Horn Of Harshil : Experience Himalayan Trek
Horn of Harshil is a mountain peak located in the Harshil Valley of Uttarakhand, India. The mountain is part of the Garhwal Himalayas and is a popular destination for trekking and mountaineering expeditions.
Harshil Valley is located in the Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand and is known for its natural beauty and rich cultural heritage. The valley is surrounded by snow-capped mountains and is home to several small villages and hamlets.
Trek to the Horn of Harshil usually starts from the village of chholmi, which is located about 243 kilometers from Dehradun, the capital city of Uttarakhand. The trek takes about 6-7 days to complete and passes through dense forests, beautiful meadows, and several small streams and waterfalls.
Best time to undertake the Horn of Harshil expedition is between the months of April and June and then again from September to November. During these months, the weather is pleasant, and the skies are clear, providing spectacular views of the surrounding mountains.
It is important to note that the Horn of Harshil expedition is a challenging trek & Expedition and requires a certain level of physical fitness and experience in high-altitude trekking.

Day ( 1 ) Rishikesh to Uttarkashi ( Drive 168 km / 6-7 hrs / 1,158 mtr )
EXPLORE TO UTTARKASHI
- Explore to Vishwanath Temple.
- Preparation for further move.
- Overnight stay in hotel.
Day ( 2 ) Uttarkashi to Harshil Valley ( Drive 75 km / 4-5 hrs / 2,450 mtr )
WISIT TO HARSHIL
- Horn of Harshil base camp starts from the holy city of Harshil The drive from Uttarkashi to Harshil is a 75 km road trip through winding mountain roads. Which will pass through Ganganani Hot spring.
- After reaching harshil Valley, We will spend the night at a homestay / hotel in harshil
Day ( 3 ) Harshil Valley to Cholmi Village ( Trek 4 km / 3-4 hrs / 3,160 mtr )
DAY OF CHOLMI
- We will wake up in the morning and have our breakfast and start our trek to Chholmi village which is 4 Kms from Harshil.
- Overnight stay in tents.
Day ( 4 ) Cholmi Village to Horn of harshil Base Camp ( Trek 3.8 km /4-5 hrs / 3,620 mtr )
CLOSE VIEWS OF MOUNTAINS
- Today we will trek to Horn of Harshil Base Camp which is 4 Kms. And today you will get to see many wonderful sights like Mount Srikanth, Mount Horn of Harshil and Gangotri Range.
- Overnight stay in tents.
Day ( 5 ) Horn Of Harshil to Cholmi Village ( Trek 3.8 km / 3-4 hrs /3,160 mtr )
BACK TO CHOLMI VILLAGE
- Today we will wake up early in the morning and watch the sun rise and have breakfast and make our trek back to Cholmi village. which is 4 kilos it may take 3 to 4 hours.
- Overnight stay in tents.
Day ( 6 ) Cholmi to Harshil ( Trek 4 km and Same day drive to Uttarkashi 75 km )
BACK TO HARSHI / UTTARKASHI
- Today we will come back to Cholmi village for Harsil which is 4 kms. And same day will leave for Uttarkashi which is 75 kms.
- Overnight stay in homestay /hotel.
Day ( 7 ) Uttarkashi to Rishikesh / Dehradun
